violation of these terms may subiect the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; ind may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permitmust be onthe Proiect site and accessibletothe permit officerwhen the prorect is inspected forcompliance. The
applicant cenifies bysiSningthis Permit that l) priorto undenaking any activities authorlzed bythis permit, the applicant will
confer with apProPriate local authorities to conlirm that this proiect is consistent with the local lind use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best ayailable
information and belief, certirythatthis proiect is consistent with the North carolina coastal Management program.
lf indlcated on front of Permit, your project is subiect to the Environmental Management Commission's Buffer Rules for the
River Basin checked above due to its location within that River Basin. These buffer rules are enforced by the NC Division of
Water Resources. Contact the Division of Water Resources at the Washington Regional Office (252-946-6481) or the
Wilmington Regional Office (91 0-796-721 5) for more information on how to comply wiih these bufferrules.

Sea Train Investment, LLC is the owner of property located at 740 Island Road, Harkers
Island, NC. We received the enclosed notice of a pier being constnrcted at 742 Island
Road, Harkers Island, NC. We have no objection to this project; however, we do not
waive our rights to a I 5 feet statutory setback. The plans appear to show the pier located
at least 15 feet from our area ofriparian rights.
