I am glad you will be not be placing heavy equipment on our property. When you do place the
equipment on the neighboring property, can you give consideration if it blocks the view of exiting traffic
from our parking lot. We have had some close calls in that area in the past in similar situations.

The property owners (Alcami Carolinas Corp) at 1726 N. 23rd St have objections to equipment being set
up in -front of their property as part of this project. HH-10 on sheet 12 is proposed to be placed in front
on 1720. Can you take look and give a brief write-up stating that BCS will not have any sustained
activities or large equipment to be set-up in front of 1726? Please reply to all us on the email so Patrick
Amico with the NCDEQ can have it in writing so we can mitigate any objections and the project can
proceed.

We will be setting up in front of the auto repair shop with our equipment . There will be digging in front
of Alcami Carolinas Corp) at 1726 N. 23rd St. There are lots of utilities that will have to be spotted there in
the right away and the right away dose go into the grassy area on the side of the road in front of the
building .

With respect to the referenced Notification/Waiver Form, we wish to provide the following
objections to your proposal. We are a pharmaceutical manufacturing company and host
regular client visits and audits at the stated property. As a result, we do not wish to have
heavy excavation equipment on our side of Smith Creek as it may generate heavy dust,
clogging of our air supply intake filters, and may also be a distraction for our customers
and/or regulatory visitors.
Alcami Carolinas Corporation, doing business as Alcami Corporation, respectfully requests
that all heavy equipment be located on the other side of Smith Creek and 23rd Street. In
addition, according to the drawing provided with the Notification/Waiver Form, the plan is
to put a hand hole (depicted by HH on the drawing) in front of 1720 N. 23rd Street (the
adjacent neighboring lot). We would also request, for safety's sake, that when this work is
being done at 1720 N. 23rd Street, to please try and not block the view of drivers exiting our
parking lot.
