This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site �---f�
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine, applicant's signature
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.
In issuing this permit the State of North Carolina certifies that
this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal
Management Program,

This letter is in reference to your CAMA General Permit which was issued on June 14, 1999.
This permit authorized the construction and/or placement of a wood bulkhead along the shoreline
of your property located at Lots 2 and 3, N. Cherokee Trail, Little River Shores, within the
waters of the Little River in Perquimans County.
On September 20, 1999 a site visit was conducted at this site to determine and confirm that your
project was completed in accordance with the Specific Conditions concerning bulkhead shoreline
stabilization structures, as referenced in Subchapter 7H .1100 of the North Carolina
Administrative Code and the Coastal Area Management Act. During this inspection, it became
apparent that all the work proposed and previously authorized under the above referenced
General Permit (copy attached) has not been completed. Work still remaining includes the
placement of siltation fabric, tieback-deadmen and backfill behind the wood wall portion of the
structure you have built. As a courtesy, I wish to remind you that CAMA Permit 021904 A
expired on September 12 , 1999. Since the remaining work falls within the permit jurisdictional
areas defined as Estuarine Waters and/or Public Trust Area, as described in Subchapter 7H .0206
and .0207 respectively, of the North Carolina Administrative Code, a permit will be required
from this Division prior to the completion of this project as originally approved in CAMA General
Permit No. 021904 A. I also note that at this time, the adjacent riparian notification statements
filed with your last permit for this project are more than one year old, and therefore, will need to
be updated prior to the issuance of another general permit for this project.
