This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project._site and accessible to the
permit officer when the project: is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.

Dear Charles:
In accordance with our recent discussions, I have enclosed a scale drawing
of four docks adjacent to one another in Gloucester, and the north side of the
Straits. The other owners, Donald Hadder, David Drexel, Ross Lampe, and I
respectfully request collective permission to lengthen our docks from the 200
feet now allowed to 340 feet. You will note on the drawing, scaled 1" to 200
feet, that at 325 feet, the depth begins to drop rapidly toward the channel. The
last sounding, taken at 350 feet, is approximately 90 feet from Beacon R-44, and
110 feet from the north channel bank.
If we are allowed to expand to 340 feet, we will be able to get in and out of our
property at low water, while still maintaining a minimum of 100 feet from the
navigable channel.
Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.
