Please consider this letter authorization for Sprint Carolina Telephone to go upon state lands
(Wards Creek) for purpose of relocating their cable lines. It is our understanding that the method used
to relocate the said lines will be directional boring 3 feet under the creek bed as indicated on the
attached map labeled Exhibit A.
By acceptance of this right of entry, evidenced by the performance of work on the property,
Sprint Carolina Telephone indemnifies and holds harmless the State of North Carolina for injury, loss
or damage arising out of the actions of the grantees, its agents or contractors performing work on the
premises. This right of entry is granted in the interest of time and is subject to all necessary Federal,
State and local permits or approvals required for the proposed project.
As soon as practical, please submit your final drawings, a written description of the easement
area, any required permits, and a check in the amount of $100.00 made payable to the North Carolina
'Department of Administration. Upon receipt of the aforementioned items, this office will seek
Governor and Council of State approval for the required Easement.
