Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that [)prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythat this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Free Standing Mooring Buoy
Dear Ms. Barrett:
As owner of the property at 2005 Shepard Street, I Mary Lou
Boxley, hereby apply for a permit for construction of one (1)
free standing mooring buoy in the sound behind my house at 2005
Shepard Street, Morehead City, North Carolina.
Attached to this application is the written permission of
adjacent riparian owner, William H. Wilkerson, who resides at
2003 Shepard Street, Morehead City, North Carolina. Also,
written permission of the other adjacent riparian owner, Robert
Flippin of 2007 Shepard Street, has been obtained and is in the
mailbox at 2005 Shepard Street for your review, or it can be
hand delivered to you on Thursday or Friday.
My son-in-law, Jerry Walker, or his wife, Beth, who live in
New Bern, will be bringing you a check for the permit fee on
Friday, August 2, and I understand the fee is $100.00. Jerry
