The two pilings adjacent to the existing dock are being added to prevent a boat from rising up and over or getting caught below the dock during tide changes or a severe storm. The two other pilings with guide boards are being installed to aid me in docking my boat during windy conditions which is the rule rather than the exception. Neither set of pilings are within 15 feet of your property line and I would appreciate your agreeing to allow the addition of the pilings. Please sign the Coastal Management form at the bottom and send it to the Division of Coastal Management in the pre addressed and stamped envelopes enclosed for your convenience.
