This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site
drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine,
imprisonment or civil action; and may cause the permit to be-
come null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
permit officer when the.. project is inspected for compliance.
The applicant certifies by_ggning this permit that 1) this pro-
ject is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement has been obtained from
adjacent riparian landowners certifying that they have no
objections to the proposed work.

County, NC.

the date of issuance.

15 NCAC 7H .1102 has been proposed to be amended as follows:
.1102 APPROVAL PROCEDURES
(b) The applicant must provide:
(1) confirmation that a written statement has been obtained
signed by the adjacent riparian property owners
indicating that they have no objections to the proposed
work, or,
(2) confirmation that the adjacent riparian property owners
have been notified by certified mail of the proposed
work. Such notice should instruct adjacent property
owners to provide any comments on the proposed
development in writing for consideration by permitting
officials to the Division of Coastal Management within
10 days of receipt of the notice, and, indicate that no
response will be interpreted as no objection. DCM
staff will review all comments and determine, based on
their relevance to the potential impacts of the
proposed project, if the proposed project can be
approved by a General Permit. If DCM staff finds that
the comments are worthy of more in-depth review, the
applicant will be notified that he must submit an
application for a maior development r>ermit.
