Box 769 Morehead City, NC 28557 Dear CAMA, Request that your office issue a local permit authorizing us to restore our primary frontal ocean sand dune which was repeatedly damaged by storms and heavy surf over the winter months. The property is extremely vulnerable right now to future hurricanes this Summer and Fall. We need to restore a section 400 feet long and 8 feet wide and with a maximum vertical height of 4 feet using a bulldozer. About 2/3 of the volume of sand that was pushed up in September, 1995, remains. Attached is a diagram to show the concept of the work and the Adjacent Riparian Property Owner Statements.
