We were unsuccessful in our attempt to reach you by telephone in order to get a few questions on your correspondence clarified. When we had our dock constructed, it was necessary for Preston and Gloria Mann to provide written agreement and we have based our similarly enclosed form on the permission they gave us. I am hoping to start building a house around the beginning of August. I would like to build a boat dock which, of course requires a permit from CAMA. In order to begin the process, I need your written approval. Enclosed is a drawing of my proposed boat dock, a form for your approval, and a self-addressed stamped envelope. The form refers to a waiver of the setback requirement. I will be building the dock on the side of my lot farthest from yours; thus, I will not need a waiver of the setback requirement. I have not actually determined the length the dock should be, and have put 175 feet on the drawing. This may be more than I need; what I would like to build is a dock approximately the same length as yours, including the additional pilings. Please call me at (202) 887-3575 if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for your time, and I hope to meet you soon. Sincerely, Margaret A.
