Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowners).
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certifythat this project is consistentwith the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Monroe Johnson Construction, Inc. propose to install 50 feet of vinyl bulkhead to
the existing Bulkhead on the William E. Hale Property which is located at the Canal
to Bogue Sound, Lot 17, Block 17 612 Atlantic Beach Causeway, Atlantic Beach, NC
28512.
At this time, we would like to ask for your approval on the construction of this
project. We have enclosed a drawing of the bulkhead addition and also an adjacent
riparian property owner's statement form that we ask that you sign. If you have
any objections to this proposal, please call the Cama office to discuss any concerns
you may have. If we could be of any assistance to you, please feel free to call our
office at the telephone number listed above.
