Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application, site drawing and attached general and specific conditions. Any
violation of these terms may subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become
null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance. The
applicant certifies by signing this permit that 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this permit, the applicant will
confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the local land use plan and all local
ordinances, and 2) a written statement or certified mail return receipt has been obtained from the adjacent riparian
landowner(s) .
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Enclosed are the adjacent property forms for our permit to reconstruct 422' of dock in our
marina. This dock may extend outward an additional 12" from the footprint of the current
dock. We replaced, without any changes, 500' of dock on the south side of our marina last
winter and want to do the same configuration on the current 422' to be replaced. We want
to start demolition of the 422' the first of November. We want to, eventually, have the
entire marina docks configured the same way, which entails, in addition to the 422', all
the north docks of the marina.
Thanks for your help. I will be out of town from Oct 19 to Nov 3, 2009. You are
welcome to make an inspection anytime.
I have enclosed my side diagram of the way we plan to do the work. This shows a 6' main
walk dock with a continuous 3' lower dock.

Enclosed is a map of the proposed area to be dredged.
Morehead City DGM
The location is between day marker #1 and day marker 93 on the north side of our entry
channel. The shoaled area is 25'x25' with the current depth being zero.
We need to dredge it to the original permitted depth of 6'. This will be a total of 139
cubic yards.

Dear Heather,
Enclosed is our check for $400.00 fee for a permit to remove sand from spots that have
filled in some in our previously dredge channel. We are contracting with Erick Pake to
use his barge and excavator to remove sand that has shoaled in our channel. The dept of
our channels with out in shoaling is 6' mlw and we want to remove the sand down to
6'mlw. Erick will take the sand off our sight on his barge.
Please call me if you have any question. I will be out of the country until Nov 6, 2008.
Thank you for your help. We do not have a schedule with Erick Pake so mid November
issue date on the permit would be good so we can get the work done within a 90-day
schedule.
