Statement of Compliance and Consistency
This permit is subject to compliance with this application and permit conditions. Any violation of these terms may
subject the permittee to a fine or criminal or civil action; and may cause the permit to become null and void.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the permit officer when the project is inspected for
compliance. The applicant certifies by signing this permit that: 1) prior to undertaking any activities authorized by this
permit, the applicant will confer with appropriate local authorities to confirm that this project is consistent with the
local land use plan and all local ordinances, and 2) a written statement from the adjacent riparian property owner(s)
has been obtained, or proof of delivery of certified mail notification of the adjacent riparian property owner(s).
The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available
information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program.

Good Afternoon, Im not gifted in art or drawing. I would like to dredge to the maximum depth allowed under the 12x12
boat lift itself( dredging to 5 ft),then dredge along the dock and outward from the dock 6 feet to a depth of 4 ft. I hope
this makes sense now.. Will be out of the country for two weeks, so if you need more I will respond upon return,thanks
for your help Greg Gunsten..

Hi Greg,
Sorry I was out of town, but I am working on getting these completed. I will need a little more detail from you on
this though.At Normal Water level it appeared to be 2' next to the dock and the channel appeared to be around 5'.
So I will just need a quick drawing showing how much you want to dredge so I can determine the cubic volume.
You would be allowed to dredge up to the connecting water depth 5'.So I will just need you to place a box on the
drawing showing that you want to dredge what area.So it would have a length,width, and depth. Hope this makes
sense. Once you do that I will work on drafting up your permit.
