The proposed projectto be located and constructed as
described above is hereby certified as exempt from the
CAMA permit requirements. This exemption to CAMA
permit requirements does not alleviate the necessity of
your obtaining any other State, Federal, or Local
authorization.
This certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit
is valid for 120 days from the date of issuance. Following
expiration, a re-examination of the project and project site may
be necessary to continue this certification.

Any person who proceeds with a development without the con-
sent of -a CAMA official under mistaken assumption that the
development is exempted, will be in violation of the CAMA if there
is a subsequent determination that a permit was required for the
development.
The applicant certifies by signing this exemption that the
applicant will abide by the conditions of this exemption.

Enclosed is the signed authorization from the Bay Cliff
Homeowners Association to CAMA regarding the proposed
pier repair/construction at 154 Baycliff Trail. We authorize
Richard to be our agent and for you to communicate
directly with him regarding the proposed pier
repair/construction at 154 Baycliff. The authorization is
good through 24 August 2025.

Hi Ronald,
We have a 100 ft pier that was damaged many years ago.
154 Baycliff Trl
KDH, NC 27948
Shoreline hassince eroded 23 feet.
Would liketo repairthe existing dock and connect it to the shoreline/bulkhead
We would replace the entire dock surface as well as 9 of the 26 pillars and also add 4 new pillars to
connect to the bulkhead.
Sendingyou a sketch here and a permit application.
Will send certified letters to my neighbors shortly but wanted to know if I am missing anything.
