The State of North Carolina and the Division of Coastal Management, in issuing this permit under the best available information and belief, certify that this project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal Management Program. Richard, this is a follow-up to our earlier requests in May to do some maintenance dredging of our channel. Attached are the following: • Request to dredge the center of the existing channel. • Area to be dredged is approximately 250'x 40'x 2.5'which we calculate as 925+/-cyds. • The existing water at low tide is as shallow as 1.5'—2.0'in certain areas and 2.0'-2.5'in other areas. • We are looking to get to 4.0-4.5'deep mlw • Attached are the riparian letters from the Trinity Center and Roosevelts Partnership/Fiddlers Walk as you requested.
