RECREATION FACILITY. IMPROVEMENTS WILL INCLUDE A PARKING LOT WITH
POTENTIALLY 120 SPACES, A 728 SF CONCESSION BUILDING, CONCRETE
WALKWAYS AND TWO MULTIPURPOSE RECREATION FIELDS. THE SITE IS LOCATED
ON 13.26 ACRES TO THE WEST OF US 158 WITHIN THE CAROLINIAN COLONY
SUBDIVISION IN NAGS HEAD, NORTH CAROLINA. APPROXIMATELY 9.2 ACRES OF
THE SITE ARE TO BE DISTURBED AND SELECTIVELY CLEARED, CLEARING OF THE
AREA IS SCHEDULED TO BEGIN IN THE FALL OF 2003, THESE DATES ARE
SCHEDULED IN ANTICIPATION OF A CONSTRUCTION START DATE FOLLOWING THE
CLEARING FOR A SCHEDULED PARK OPENING OF SPRING 2004.

SEDIMENTATION CONTROL MEASURES IDENTIFIED ON THIS PLAN SHALL BE INSTALLED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PLAN.
3. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ENSURE THAT AREAS OUTSIDE OF THE LIMITS OF LAND
DISTURBING AS WELL AS EXISTING IMPROVEMENTS SPECIFICALLY NOTED FOR PROTECTION ARE
NOT ADVERSELY IMPACTED BY ANY CLEARING ACTIVITIES.
4. PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT OF ANY EXCAVATION, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL HAVE THE
APPROPRIATE UNDERGROUND UTILITIES LOCATED.
5. EXPOSED SIDE SLOPES SHALL BE PLANTED OR PROVIDED WITH TEMPORARY GROUND COVER
SUFFICIENT TO CONTROL EROSION WITHIN 15 WORKING DAYS OR 30 CALENDAR DAYS OF
COMPLETION OF ANY PHASE OR GRADING, WHICHEVER IS SHORTER.
6. IF EXCESSIVE WIND EROSION OR STORM WATER RUNOFF DEVELOPS DURING TIME OF
CONSTRUCTION IN ANY LOCATION ON THE PROJECT SITE, ADDITIONAL SAND OR SILT FENCING
SHALL BE INSTALLED AS DIRECTED BY ENGINEER, SEE SAND OR SILT FENCE DETAIL.
7. SOIL EROSION AND SEDIMENTATION CONTROLS TO BE INSPECTED, MAINTAINED AND REPAIRED
