OBTAIN GRADING PERMIT FROM NC DEPT. OF ENVIRONMENT, LAND QUALITY SECTION.
INSTALL GRAVEL CONSTRUCTION PAD AND OTHER EROSION CONTROL MEASURES
AS SHOWN. CLEAR ONLY AREAS NECESSARY TO INSTALL DEVISES.
BEGIN CLEARING, GRUBBING AND FILLING OPERATIONS.
MAINTAIN EROSION CONTROL DEVISES AS NEEDED.
BEGIN ROUGH GRADING
STABILIZE SITE AS AREAS ARE BROUGHT UP TO FINISHED GRADE.

EROSION CONTROL NOTES
SHOULD WORK ON THE SITE BE PERFORMED BY MORE THAN ONE PRIME
CONTRACTOR, EACH PRIME SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING
TASKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE CONTRACTOR'S PHASE OF THE WORK.
I. DURING THE CONSTRUCTION PHASES ALL EROSION CONTROL MEASURES
SHALL BE MAINTAINED. SEDIMENT AND EROSION CONTROL DEVICES
AND STRUCTURES SHALL BE CHECKED WEEKLY AND IMMEDIATELY AFTER
STORM EVENT. DEVICES SHALL BE REPAIRED, ADJUSTED, OR
REPLACED AS NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN THEIR INTENDED FUNCTION.
2. TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE IS NOT REQUIRED.
3. SILT FENCE AND/OR JUTE LINING TO BE INSTALLED AS DIRECTED BY
ENGINEER OR EROSION CONTROL OFFICER.
4. SILT FENCES SHOULD BE INSPECTED AFTER EACH RAINFALL
AND SEDIMENT DEPOSITS SHOULD BE REMOVED WHEN
THEY REACH A MAXIMUM 1/3 THE HEIGHT OF THE FENCE.
5. UPON COMPLETION, SEED AND STABILIZE AS NECESSARY.
6. CALL FOR FINAL SITE INSPECTION BY EROSION CONTROL OFFICER.
