MEMORANDUM
DATE: December 15, 2014
TO: Daniel Govoni
THRU: Roy Brownlowrr
FROM: Brad Connell V,
SUBJECT: JOB Holdings, LLC and State Permits# 132-05
Please find correspondence enclosed dated November 13, 2014 from Mr. Tom McCary, of Wayfarers Cove
Marina, requesting a permit renewal. State Permit#132-05 was issued for the construction of a subdivision
adjacent to Alligator Creek, connecting to the Neuse in Minnesott Beach, Pamlico County. The permit expires
on December 31, 2014.
The request is to renew this permit. This permit authorizes the upland development of a subdivision. Due to
poor economic conditions,no substantial work has taken place. This is the applicant's first request to renew
this permit.
It is suggested that this request be processed in accordance with 15A NCAC 07J .0404(b)which states: "Where
no development has been initiated during the development period, the permitting authority shall extend the
authorized development period for no more than two years upon receipt of a signed and dated request from the
applicant... " The Morehead City District Staff recommends granting the request to renew the permit for an
additional two years. A check in the amount of$100 (#6887)has been received in order to process the request.
