As you know, clearing is already taking place so that needed bulkheading can be installed. As with Permit#109-84,the channel dredge part of that Permit has been going on since 1984. Since I started here in 2005, 1 have dredged parts of the channel that fill in almost on a yearly basis. 2) The reason that the project will not be completed by December 31, 2019 is that the previous owners had no intention of doing any improvements on the Marina. New ownership occurred on May 20 2019. 3) The marina renovation will not be as extensive as previously stated. Therefore,the scope of the project will be reduced. Existing pier layout will remain basically the same. Bulkheading will take place where it is needed to stabilize the banks. 4) As you know,ownership has already been changed on each Permit. 5) As far as 1 know,we are in compliance on both Permits as no major renovation has taken place yet. The maintenance dredge part of the Permit#109-84 has been used in compliance for years.
