Fill material was observed to have been graded directly on top of the rubblemound structure from —Sta. 9+00 to 5+00 (See Photo #4) 3. The concrete cap between Sta. 0+00 and 2+00 was observed covered with sand and graded to match the surrounding grade while the concrete cap between Sta. 2+00 and 3+00 remained exposed. Three (3) areas along the cap were observed to have been chipped (See Photos #5 through #8). 4. A non -spec stone marked for removal was observed remaining within the rubble mound structure at —Sta. 4+00. (See Photo #9). 5. A piece of steel reinforcement bar left over from the concrete cap construction was observed and CDC crew members were notified of its location so that it could be removed (See Photo #9). 6. Stockpiled sand was observed west of the rubblemound structure at —Sta. 1+50 (See Photo #10). 7. The two remaining stockpiled stones previously observed within the staging area were no longer on site. 8. No work was observed at the Shallotte Blvd staging area. Signs and barricades were observed in place. Items Discussed with Contractor's Superintendent, Surveyor, Regulatory Agencies, ... etc.: 1.
