Detailed Observations:
1. No construction activity was occurring today.
2. The test section located at the seaward end of structure was visually inspected to ensure that it meets the project
design template. No noticeable deficiencies were observed (See Photo #2).
3. Stone fragments were observed within various locations within the structure including in proximity to Sta. 9+00
(See Photo #3).
4. Sheet pile sections were observed staged at the northern and western portions of the staging areas (See {Photo
#4).
5. Measurements of the sheet pile sections were observed to be within the specifications (See Photos #5, 6, and 7).
6. Two sheet pile sections were observed to be partially installed in proximity to Sta. 3+00 (See Photo #8).
7. Construction debris was observed along East 4t" Street just west of Shallotte Blvd. and at the northern end of
Shallotte Blvd. (See Photos #9 and #10).
8. Broken asphalt was observed at the NE corner of East 4th Street just west of Shallotte Blvd. (See Photo #11).
