Yes Measurement: Visual comparison of the UAS orthomosaic with the structure footprint. 17. Was the constructed sheet pile verified to meet the plans and specifications? N/A Measurement: N/A 18. Were any photographs taken? Yes 19. Was the drone flown today? Yes Detailed Observations: 1. Armor stone (Size A) installation operations were being conducted today on the terminal groin. CDC was observed placing marine mattresses in the water (See Photo #2). Twenty (20) marine mattresses were installed today between Sta. 9+60 to Sta. 9+80. 2. Armor stones (Size A) were observed being delivered to the project site via flatbed tractor trailer from the Rockingham Vulcan quarry. Armor stones were observed in offroad trucks within the staging area (See Photo #3) All stones appeared to be within the size range for the Size A stone. 3. Construction signs were observed in place and fencing was observed around the 4th Street and Shallotte Blvd staging and laydown areas. 4. No work was observed at the Shallotte Blvd staging area. Signs and barricades were observed in place. 5. Observed geotextile fabric partially buried within the terminal groin structure at approximately Sta. 3+00 (See Photo #4). Items Discussed with Contractor's Superintendent, Surveyor, Regulatory Agencies, ... etc.: The USACE Ocean Isle Beach CSRM Project Pipeline Placement meeting was held today on -site (See Photo #6). Representatives joining the meeting were Rolando Serrano (USACE), Emily Hughes (USACE), Brennan Dooley (USACE), Dean Hill (USACE), Maria Dunn (NC WRC), Heather Coats (NC DCM), Kathy Matthews (USFWS), Chip Forbes (Norfolk Dredging), Ricky Smith (Norfolk Dredging), and Jody (Norfolk Dredging). The meeting was led by Rolando Serrano and was convened to discuss the acceptable placement of the Norfolk Dredging's pipeline for the dredging work associated with the CSRM Project anticipated to begin on or around February 6`", 2022. Brad described the tentative plan for the pipeline to run over the terminal groin at approximately Sta.3+50 or possibly slightly landward if possible. Representatives from Norfolk Dredging stated that it is their desire to run the pipeline from the dredge to the groin in the water just off the shoreline, however, if that is not deemed possible, they will run it along the beach and will anchor it is place. Brad Rosov (CPE) spoke with Richard Mattingly (CDC) prior to the Pipeline Placement meeting and informed him that if anything noteworthy was discussed, he would convey that information directly to Richard. Were any issues identified today which may result in a field adjustment report, contract modification, request for interpretation, or noncompliance? If so, describe: 1. No issues were discussed today.
