Yes Measurement: Visual comparison of the UAS orthomosaic with the structure footprint. 17. Was the constructed sheet pile verified to meet the plans and specifications? N/A Measurement: N/A 18. Were any photographs taken? Yes 19. Was the drone flown today? Yes Detailed Observations: 1. Armor stone (Size A) installation operations were being conducted today on the terminal groin. Sixteen (16) marine mattresses were installed today between Sta. 8+80 to Sta. 9+00. 2. Armor stones (Size A) were observed being delivered to the project site via flatbed tractor trailer from the Rockingham Vulcan quarry. All stones appeared to be within the size range for the Size A stone. Stones were observed on offroad trucks waiting to be delivered to the groin (See Photo #3). 3. Construction signs were observed in place and fencing was observed around the 4th Street and Shallotte Blvd. staging and laydown areas. 4. No work was observed at the Shallotte Blvd staging area. Signs and barricades were observed in place. 5. Derelict sandbag geotextile fabric was observed in between the blast mats and the groin structure at station 3+50 (See Photo #4). Items Discussed with Contractor's Superintendent, Surveyor, Regulatory Alzencies, ... etc.: 1. Brad Rosov (CPE) met representatives from North Topsail Beach (Alice Derian, Town Manager; Mike Benson, Mayor Pro Tem; and Bob Swantek, Board of Alderman) at the construction access site on East 4th Street and provided them with a tour of the construction site. The site visit provided and opportunity for officials from North Topsail Beach to learn more about Ocean Isle Beach's experience planning for and constructing their terminal groin. Were any issues identified today which may result in a field adjustment report, contract modificatio request for interpretation, or noncompliance? If so, describe: 1. No issues were discussed today.
