This permit, issued on February 14,2005 , is subject to compliance with the application(where consistent
with the permit),all applicable regulations, special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may
be subject to fines, imprisonment or civil action; or may cause the permit to be null and void.
Marina Redevelopment and Expansion
1) Prior to the occupancy of any new or renovated slips authorized under this permit, a marine pumpout
sewage disposal facility shall be installed, operable, and maintained for the life of the marina.
2) The marina facility shall display a sign showing the location of the on-site pumpout facility, including
other appropriate waste disposal information, at the entrance to each main pier.
3) No sewage, whether treated or untreated, shall be discharged at any time from any boats using the
marina facility. Any sewage discharge at the marina facility shall be considered a violation of this
permit for which the permittee is responsible. This prohibition shall be applied and enforced throughout
the entire existence of the permitted structure.

This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or Signed by the authority of the Secretary of DENR and the
other qualified persons within twenty(20) days of the issuing Chairman of the Coastal Resources Commission.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS
4) This
e*t authon e y the docks, piers, and other structures and uses located in or over the water
thatssly ecifically set forth in the permit application. No other structure, whether
floating or stationary, shall become a permanent part of this marina facility without permit modification.
No non-water dependent uses of structures shall be conducted on, in or over Public Trust waters without
permit modification.
5) No attempt shall be made by the permittee to prevent the full and free use by the public of all navigable
waters at or adjacent to the authorized work.
6) The authorized structure and associated activity shall not cause an. unacceptable interference with
navigation.
7) The permittee shall maintain the authorized work in good condition and in conformance with the terms
and conditions of this permit. The permittee is not relieved of this requirement if he/she abandons the
permitted activity without having it transferred to a third party.
8) This permit does not authorize the interference with any existing or proposed Federal project, and the
permittee shall not be entitled to compensation for damage to the authorized structure or work, or injury
which may be caused from existing or future operations undertaken by the United States in the public
interest.
9) The permittee shall install and maintain at his expense any signal lights or signals prescribed by the U.S.
Coast Guard, through regulation or otherwise, on the authorized facilities. At a minimum, permanent
reflectors shall be attached to the structure in order to make it more visible during hours of darkness or
inclement weather.
10) This permit authorizes a maximum of 102 boat slips.
NOTE: It is strongly recommended that the permittee exercise all available precautions in the day-to-day
operation of the facility to prevent facility waste from entering the adjacent waters. Such
discharge, either directly or indirectly, to adjacent waters could contravene state water quality
standards, thereby violating state law.
Boat Rama
11) During the construction of the expanded boat ramp, protective measures shall be undertaken to ensure
that live concrete does not contact waters of the State or waters that will enter waters of the State.
12) All materials resulting from the demolition of the old recreational facility building shall be properly
disposed of at an approved upland disposal site.
Upland Development
13) This permit authorizes only those upland development activities that are specifically referenced in the
attached permit application and workplan drawings. Any proposed alterations to the approved upland
development plan shall require additional authorization from the Division.

Shoreline Stabilization
14) The alignment of the authorized bulkhead shall be staked by a representative of the Division of Coastal
Management within a maximum of 30 days prior to the start of construction. Failure to initiate
construction within 30 days, or erosion of the shoreline by adverse weather conditions, shall require the
alignment to be restaked by DCM within a maximum of 30 days prior to the new expected start of
construction.
15) The bulkhead shall not extend waterward more than 2 feet from the normal water level at any point
along its alignment at the time of construction.
16) The bulkhead shall be constructed prior to any backfilling activities.
17) The bulkhead shall be structurally tight ,so as to prevent seepage of backfill materials through the
structure.
18) The bulkhead shall be solid and constructed of treated wood, concrete slabs, metal or vinyl sheet piles or.
other suitable materials approved by department personnel. No excavation is permitted except for that
which may be required for the construction of the bulkhead wall, riprap, deadmen cables, etc. This
permit does not authorize any excavation waterward of the approved alignment.
19) The fill material shall be clean and free of any pollutants except in trace quantities.
20) All backfill material shall be obtained from a high ground source and confined behind the permitted
bulkhead.
Stormwater Management
21) The Division of Water Quality approval of this project under stormwater management rules of the
Environmental Management Commission is covered by way of Stormwater Permit No. SW7040820,
which was issued on 2/8/05. Any violation of the permit approved by the DWQ shall be considered a
violation of this CAMA permit.
Erosion & Sedimentation Control
NOTE: An Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan may be required for this project. If required, this
plan must be filed at least thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of any land disturbing activity.
Submit this plan to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources, Land Quality
Section,A) 943 Washington Square Mall, Washington,NC 27889.
22) A ground cover sufficient to restrain erosion shall be provided within 30 calendar days of completion of
any phase of grading.

23) Appropriate sedimentation and erosion control devices, measures or structures shall be implemented to
ensure that eroded materials do not enter adjacent wetlands, watercourses and property (e.g. silt fence,
diversion swales or berms, etc.).
24) The permitted activity shall be conducted in such a manner as to prevent a significant increase in
turbidity outside of the area of construction or construction-related discharge. Increases such that the
turbidity in the waterbody is 25 NTU's or less in all saltwater classes are not considered significant.
General
25) The permittee understands and agrees that, if future operations by the United States requires the
removal, relocation, or other alteration of the structure or work authorized by this permit, or if in the
opinion of the Secretary of the Army or his authorized representative, said structure or work shall cause
unreasonable obstruction to free navigation of the navigable waters, the permittee shall be required,
upon due notice from the Corps of Engineers, to remove, relocate or alter the structural work or
obstructions caused thereby, without expense to the United States or the state of North Carolina. No
claim shall be made against the United States or the state of North Carolina on account of any such
removal or alteration.
26) This permit does not authorize the excavation or filling of any vegetated wetlands.
27) This permit does not authorize the excavation of any open water area.
28) Prior to construction of any portion of the fuel dispensing system, the permittee shall obtain any and all
required approvals for such facilities.
NOTE: This permit does not eliminate the need to obtain any additional state, federal or local permits,
approvals or authorizations that may be required.
NOTE: Any development or land disturbing activity that is considered non-water dependent is not
authorized within 50 feet of the normal high water level unless specifically exempted by
Environmental Management Commission (EMC) Neuse River buffer regulations in place at the
time of such development. Contact the Division of Water Quality at 252-946-6481 prior to the
commencement of any such activity to determine additional permit requirements.
NOTE: Future development of the permittee's property may require a modification of this permit.

9. NARRATIVE DESCRIPTION
Project Setting
The applicant owns the 2.2-acre tract of land known as the River Bend Marina, off Marina
Drive at Shoreline Drive, on Plantation Canal, in the Town of River Bend, Craven County, North
Carolina. The property is a corner tract of land adjacent to Plantation Canal and Channel Run
Canal, both man-altered systems. The property has approximately 500' of shoreline abutting
Channel Run Canal. The current marina has some 80 slips based on a fixed dock that extends 136
feet out into Plantation Canal along the southeast side of the property and which extends southwest
for approximately 408'. The docking facility actually extends out in front of the Pier Pointe
Property Owners Association property (a condominium complex). The docks extend some 160'
out into the water of the 202' to 214' wide Plantation Canal. It is my understanding that the
marina and condominium complex were developed by the same owner in phases. There is an
existing asphalt drive that leads to a 28'-wide boatramp out into Channel Run Canal along with a
6' wide dock that runs north for some 120'. Several small derelict piers extend out into the canal
along this stretch of shoreline. There is also a graveled parking and two-story 3,277 ftz building
on the site. A wooden walkway leads from the building to the water where there is a derelict
bulkhead. There is very little vegetation on the tract except for a few trees along the shoreline.
Channel Run Canal is approximately 169' in width at its narrowest point along this stretch of
canal. Water depths along the outside of the Plantation Canal docks are -6.5' below NWL while
water depths inside the docks average -3.5' to 4'. The water depths along the docks on Channel
Run Canal are between -2.5 to -5' below NWL. There are no wetlands on the site and the
adjacent waters are classified as SC Sw NSW and are closed to shellfishing. There were no SAVs
observed at the site and the area is not a designated Primary Nursery Area.
Project Description
The applicant proposes to redevelop/expand the River Bend Marina by replacing the old
fixed docks with pre-fab floating docks creating 78 slips and by adding 400 linear foot of fixed
docks (in two sections) along Channel Run Canal, creating another 24 small boat slips. The
applicant also proposes to install/replace 500' linear feet of bulkhead at a distance of 2' waterward
of the NWL, to demolish the old "Oar House" recreational facility, to build a new 28' tall 50' X
100' "Ships Store" and snack area with a 12' X 46' deck, and to widen the existing 28'-wide
boatramp to 34' in width. The existing gravel drives are proposed to be resurfaced with asphalt
and a new 6' X 38' concrete walkway is proposed to be constructed waterward of the new
building. A 4'-wide wooden walkway would lead from the building to the boatramp. The
application indicates some 39 asphalt parking places. The 8'X 540' "L" shaped floating dock
along Plantation Canal would be installed within the same footprint as the old docks. There would
be forty-one 4' X 20' finger piers creating the 78 slips along this dock. The 8' X 175' fixed dock
north of the boatramp includes six 4' X 20' finger piers delineating 10 slips and includes an 8' X
40' platform with pumpout facility and signage. The 8' X 205' fixed dock to the south of the
boatramp would include eight 4' X 20' finger piers delineating 14 additional slips. A total of 102
slips would be created by the development.

Anticipated Impacts
As proposed, the rebuilt floating docks and new fixed docks would usurp approximately
33,444 ft2 of Public Trust Waters with approximately 10,472 ft2 of that amount being shaded. The
demolition of the old "Oar House", the grading and resurfacing of the gravel drives and parking
would disturb another 24,052 ft2 of high ground. The percent imperviousness of the tract within
75' of the NWL would be approximately 16% or 6,115 ft2. This would include the asphalt drive
to the boatramp, a section of the parking area, the boatramp itself, the concrete walkway, and a
concrete slab for the dumpster. It appears that the "Oar House" deck, walkways, and part of the
asphalt drive encroach slightly into Zone 2 of the Neuse River Basin buffer rules. Approximately
90 ft2 of shallow Estuarine Waters would be lost as a result of the widening of the boatramp with
another 1,000 ft2 lost with the construction of the 500' linear foot of bulkhead. Approximately
7,500 ft2 of high ground within the Coastal Shoreline would be disturbed as a result of the
installation of the tie-backs for the bulkhead. Some trees along the shoreline would be removed
during bulkhead cnstruction. The floating docks along Plantation Canal would usurp less of a
footprint than the existing fixed docks — but would extend out the same distance some 3/4 the
width of the canal. The fixed docks along Channel Run Canal would extend some 1/6 the width
of the canal. There would be some minor increases in turbidity during the construction of the
docks. A makeshift coffer dam would be constructed to ensure that no raw concrete reaches the
open water during construction. According to the application, stormwater issues would be treated
using the "Best Management Practices" (BMPs).

In general this project is to renovate the existing structures. The existing marina
boat slips are to be removed and replaced with floating docks. The existing access
driveways will be asphalt paved. Stormwater will be treated using the"Best
Management Practices"(BMP).
The bulkheads are currently in very poor condition and will be replaced.
Replacement of the bulkheads will necessitate the removal of a few trees at the water's
edge near the existing boat-ramp. Trees will be planted in accordance with the Town
Ordinance.
The existing boat-ramp will be repaired and widened to 34 feet to allow two boats
to launch or load.
The existing building,formerly known as the"Oar House."served as a
recreational facility for twenty years. It was constructed in June of 1982.It currently
needs extensive repair and will be replaced.
At present the total area,"footprint,"for the existing marina docks(to be
removed)is 24,670 ftZ. The area of the new floating docks,"footprint,"is 21,714 i .
The area of the new slips along the front of the existing Oar House would be
9,236 ft. The new docks, as proposod, would be constructed within the area which is
now occupied by the existing piles and finger piers. (i.e. as/the areas given above the
new docks will occupy 2,956 A2 less area.)
The new bulk-heading will be approximately 500 h.in length. Some trees will be
removed where necessary to place new bulk-heading. The amount of soil to be disturbed
would be minimal,dependant upon the type of tic.backs used.
The Oar House will be replaced with a building that will be a one story structure
with a"Ships Store"and snack area.
The existing Oar House is presently encroaching on the buffer zone by
approximately 15 ft(1125 ft2). The new building will be located such that it,will not
encroach on the buffer zone.
The above construction will disturb an.acre and tberefore a Soil Erosion Plan will
be submitted. Parking will be provided along all interior roads. Total parking spaces are
approximately 55.

The Washington Regional Office received a completed Stormwater Application for the
subject project on February 3, 2005. Staff review of the plans and specifications has determined that
the project, as proposed, will comply with the Stormwater Regulations set forth in Title 15A NCAC
2H.1000. We are forwarding Permit No. SW7040820 dated February 8, 2005 to Berit Peck for the
construction and operation of a dry infiltration basin to serve the River Bend Marina located in
Craven County.
This permit shall be effective from the date of issuance until February 8, 2015 and shall be
subject to the conditions and limitations as specified therein. Please pay special attention to the
Operation and Maintenance requirements in this permit. Failure to establish an adequate system for
operation and maintenance of the stormwater management system will result in future compliance
problems.
If any parts, requirements, or limitations contained in this permit are unacceptable,you have
the right to request an adjudicatory hearing upon written request within thirty (30) days following
receipt of this permit. This request must be in the form of a written petition,conforming to Chapter
150B of the North Carolina General Statutes, and filed with the Office of Administrative Hearings,

for a dry infiltration basin beneath a parking lot and grassed buffers to serve the redevelopment of
the River Bend Marina located in Craven County.
This permit shall be effective from the date of issuance until February 8, 2015 and shall be subject
to the following specified conditions and limitations:
I. DESIGN STANDARDS
1. This permit is effective only with respect to the nature and volume of stormwater described
in the application and other supporting data.
2. This stormwater system has been approved for the management of stormwater runoff as
described on page 2 of this permit,the Project Data Sheet.
3. Approved plans and specifications for this project are incorporated by reference and are
enforceable parts of the permit.

4. No homeowner/lot owner/developer shall be allowed to fill in, alter, or pipe any vegetative
practices (such as swales) shown on the approved plans as part of the stormwater
management system without submitting a revision to the permit and receiving approval from
the Division.
5. The following items will require a modification to the permit:
a. Any revision to the approved plans,regardless of size
b. Project name change
C. Transfer of ownership
d. Redesign or addition to the approved amount of built-upon area
e. Further subdivision of the project area.
In addition, the Director may determine that other revisions to the project should require a
modification to the permit.
6. The Director may notify the permittee when the permitted site does not meet one or more of
the minimum requirements of the permit. Within the time frame specified in the notice, the
permittee shall submit a written time schedule to the Director for modifying the site to meet
minimum requirements. The permittee shall provide copies of revised plans and
certification in writing to the Director that the changes have been made.
II. SCHEDULE OF COMPLIANCE
l. The permittee will comply with the following schedule for construction and maintenance of
the stormwater management system.
a. The stormwater management system shall be constructed in its entirety, vegetated
and operational for its intended use prior to the construction of any built-upon
surfaces except roads.
b. During construction,erosion shall be kept to a minimum and any eroded areas of the
system will be repaired immediately.
2. The facilities must be properly maintained and operated at all times. The approved
Operation and Maintenance Plan must be followed in its entirety and maintenance must
occur at the scheduled intervals.
3. The permittee shall at all times provide the operation and maintenance necessary to assure
the permitted stormwater system functions at optimum efficiency including, but not limited
to:
a. Semiannual scheduled inspections(every 6 months)
b. Sediment removal
C. Mowing and revegetation of side slopes

d. Immediate repair of eroded areas
e. Maintenance of side slopes in accordance with approved plans and specifications
f. Debris removal and unclogging of outlet structure, orifice device and catch basins
and piping.
4. Records of maintenance activities must be kept and made available upon request to
authorized personnel of DWQ. The records will indicate the date, activity, name of person
performing the work and what actions were taken.
5. This permit shall become voidable unless the facilities are constructed in accordance with
the conditions of this permit, the approved plans and specifications, and other supporting
data.
6. Upon completion of construction and prior to operation of this permitted facility, a
certification must be received from an appropriate designer for the system installed
certifying that the permitted facility has been installed in accordance with this permit, the
approved plans and specifications, and other supporting documentation. Mail the
Certification to the Washington Regional Office, 943 Washington Square Mall,
Washington,North Carolina,27889,attention Division of Water Quality.
7. A copy of the approved plans and specifications shall be maintained on file by the Permittee
for a minimum of five years from the date of the completion of construction.
III. GENERAL CONDITIONS
1. This permit is not transferable. In the event there is a desire for the facilities to change
ownership, or there is a name change of the Permittee, a formal permit request must be
submitted to the Division of Water Quality accompanied by an application fee,
documentation from the parties involved, and other supporting materials as may be
appropriate. The approval of this request will be considered on its merits and may or may
not be approved.
2. Failure to abide by the conditions and limitations contained in this permit may subject the
Permittee to enforcement action by the Division of Water Quality, in accordance with North
Carolina General Statute 143-215.6(a)to 143-215.6(c).
3. The issuance of this permit does not preclude the Permittee from complying with any and all
statutes, rules, regulations, or ordinances which may be imposed by other government
agencies (local, state,and federal)which have jurisdiction.
4. In the event that the facilities fail to perform satisfactorily, including the creation of nuisance
conditions, the Permittee shall take immediate corrective action, including those as may be
required by this Division, such as the construction of additional or replacement stormwater
management systems.

5. The permit may be modified,revoked and reissued or terminated for cause. The filing of a
request for a permit modification,revocation and reissuance or termination does not stay any
permit condition.

SUBJECT:CAMA Dredge/Fill Permit Application for Ms. Berit Peck, River Bend Marina
expansion, Craven County,North Carolina.
Biologists with the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission(Commission) reviewed the
permit application with regard to impacts on fish and wildlife resources. The project site is located in the
Town of River Bend, on Marina Drive, adjacent to Plantation Canal off the Trent River and was visited
on September 14, 2004. Our comments are provided in accordance with provisions of the Coastal Area
Management Act(G.S. 113A-100 through 113A-128), as amended, and the Fish and Wildlife
Coordination Act(48 Stat. 401, as amended; 16 U.S.C. 661 et seq.).
The applicant is proposing to redevelop/expand the River Bend Marina docks, construct 500 ft. of
bulkhead, expand the existing boat ramp, and redevelop the high ground area including rebuilding a
ship's store with asphalt drive and parking. The current marina has approximately 80 fixed docks located
within Plantation Canal. The application includes replacing the fixed docks with pre-fab floating docks to
create 78 slips. Two sections of fixed docks will be added along Channel Run Canal, adding 24 slips to
achieve a project total of 102 slips. The existing"Oar House" will be demolished and a new ship's store
will be constructed within a similar footprint. 39 parking spaces and the existing gravel road will be
paved. Total impervious surface within 75 ft area of environmental concern(AEC)would be
approximately 16%. The"Proposed Conditions Map" included with the application also indicates a
fueling facility and pumpout station will be included with the marina expansion. Neither of these facilities
were mentioned in the project description. Plantation Canal is classified C Sw NSW by the
Environmental Management Commission and is not a designated primary nursery area.
We recommend the applicant consult the Division of Water Quality to determine if the proposed
project should obtain a stormwater permit instead of only using best management practices. Otherwise,
we do not object to the project provided the following items are included as permit conditions:

1. The applicant should provide a Marina Operations and Maintenance Manual that describes the
contingency plan for oil, fuel and other hazardous substance releases.The plan should identify a
trained dockmaster who would conduct or monitor all fueling services, identify what spill control and
clean-up equipment will be available(e.g., oil booms),and establish a protocol for customers
concerning response to fuel spills.
2. Although sediment disruption and turbidity from the proposed in water construction are expected
to be minimal,the Commission recommends that the construction not occur between April 1 and
June 30 of any year to avoid peak spawning and initial development periods for several fresh
water fishes in the area.
3. Sedimentation and erosion control structures, such as silt fences, should be in place prior to soil
disturbance to prevent sediment entering surface waters.
4. Reflectors or similar navigational warning devices will be positioned on the outer portions of the
new dock system.

You have our approval, in accordance with the attached conditions,to fill or otherwise impact 1.52 acres
of non-vegetated wetlands and coastal shoreline to redevelop/expand the River Bend Marina docks,
construct a bulkhead,expand the boatramp and redevelop the'high ground at the referenced property as
described in your application received by the Division of Water,Quality(DWQ)Wetlands/401 Unit on
August 23, 2004. After reviewing your application, we have determined that the Division of Water

Subject: Major Permit Application, requested by Ms. Berit Peck to expand the River Bend docks,

develop an asphalt drive with parking, at property located on Marina Drive at Shoreline
Drive, adjacent to Plantation Canal and Channel Run Canal, in the Town of River Bend,
Craven County,North Carolina.
LUP Consistency Determination: The proposal is Consistent With&Not in Conflict with the
1996 Craven County Land Use Plan certified by the CRC on
July 26, 1996,provided that all applicable local, state, and
federal development guidelines are met.
Overview:
Areas of Environmental Concern (AEC's) impacted by the proposal include Estuarine Waters
(EW), Public Trust Areas (PTA), and Coastal Shoreline (CS). The waters at the project site are
classified as C Sw NSW and are closed to the harvesting of shellfish. The area is not a Primary
Nursery Area.
The Craven County Land Classification Map designates the subject property AECs as
"Conservation". Development within the designated AECs is limited by CAMA regulations and
development guidelines. Applicable or related policy includes the following:
"Craven County will allow the construction and expansion of marinas, including upland
marinas, in all areas which satisfy the use standards for marinas as specified in 1 SA
NCAC 7H. This shall include marinas proposed for location within Conservation
areas. " (Marina and Floating Home Development Policy (a),pg. IV-5)
"Craven County supports the construction of bulkheads as long as they fulfill the use
standards set forth in 1 SA NCAC 7H. " (Bulkhead Construction Policy,pg. IV-6)
"Craven County supports the use standards for estuarine and public trust areas as

Re: Comments for Riverbend marina expansion
The North Carolina Division of Marine Fisheries (NCDMF) is concerned about the potential
impact of the proposed expansion on a waterbody that is classified as Nutrient Sensitive Water
(NSW). The NCDMF would like to include as a condition of the permit that vegetation such as
grasses,trees and shrubs be planted in all areas bare of vegetation because of the increased amount
of impervious surfaces within 75 feet of NWL. This condition would help decrease the amount of

NOTICE OF FILING OF
APPLICATION FOR CAMA MAJOR
DEVELOPMENT PERMIT
The Department of Environment and Natural Resources hereby gives public notice as
required by NCGS I I3A-119(b) that application for a development permit in an Area of
Environmental Concern as designated under the CAMA was received complete on July 19,
2004. According to said application, Ms. Berit Peck proposes to renovate the River Bend
Marina by reconstructing the existing docks, adding additional dockage along Plantation Canal
(Channel Run), demolish the old "Oar House", construct a ship's store, pave the parking lot
and entrance road and expand the existing boat ramp. The site is located off Marina Drive on
Shoreline Drive, adjacent to Plantation Canal in River Bend, Craven County, North Carolina.
A copy of the entire application may be examined or copied at the office of Stephen Lane,
Coastal Management Representative, NC Division of Coastal Management, located at 151-B
Hwy. 24, Hestron Plaza II, Morehead City, NC, [phone] during normal business
hours.
Comments mailed to Charles S. Jones, Director, Division of Coastal Management,
1638 Mail Service Center, Raleigh, NC, 27699-1638, prior to August 25, 2004, will be
considered in making the permit decision. Later comments will be accepted and considered up

Dear Mr. Raybon:
The NC Division of Coastal Management hereby acknowledges receipt of the
application that you submitted on behalf of Ms. Berit Peck for State approval for
development of River Bend Marina at Shoreline Drive on Plantation Canal, in River
Bend, Craven County, North Carolina. It was received complete on July 19, 2004,
and appears to be adequate for processing at this time. The projected deadline for
making a decision is October 2, 2004. An additional 75-day review period is
provided by law when such time is necessary to complete the review. If you have
not been notified of a final action by the initial deadline stated above, you should
consider the review period extended. Under those circumstances, this letter will
serve as your notice of an extended review. However, an additional letter will be
provided on or about the 75th day.
If this agency does not render a permit decision within 70 days from July 19,
2004, you may request a meeting with the Director of the Division of Coastal
Management and permit staff to discuss the status of your project. Such a meeting
will be held within five working days from the receipt of your written request and shall
include the property owner, developer, and project designer/consultant.
NCGS 113A-119(b) requires that Notice of an application be posted at the
location of the proposed development. Enclosed you will find a "Notice of Permit
Filing" postcard which must be posted at the property of your proposed
development. You should post this notice at a conspicuous point along your
property where it can be observed from a public road. Some examples would be:
Nailing the notice card to a telephone pole or tree along the road right-of-way
fronting your property, or at a point along the road right-of-way where a private road
would lead one into your property. Failure to post this notice could result in an
incomplete application.
