Good Morning Haley,
I hope you had a nice weekend. I just checked to see if I could confirm the letter delivery and
it looks like they were closed when USPS made the initial attempt.
What happens if they are unable to make the delivery? Just want to be prepared.
Thanks so much,
JoAnna

Hi Joanna,
They do not need to respond, but I do need to give them a few days after the letter
shows it is delivered to reach out if they have any issues. Getting the letter shown asdelivered can take a few days, especially if they are not home when it is fist tried fordelivery.
After the waiting period I would be able to issue the CAMA permit.
Best,
Haley

Thank you so much! I'll send that letter out today. Do they need to respond inorder to obtain the permit, or is there a time period in which they have to object
and if they do not respond, we can receive the permit?

Hi Joanna,
For CAMA we needed to confirm the trenches were out of the 60’ CAMA buffer
from the first line of vegetation. I took a site plan from a CAMA permit weapproved at the end of last year for the retaining walls. I verified the dunes had thesame first line of vegetation as they did when the other permit was issued, so tosave you some time I just added the area where the trenches are proposed on the
site plan attached. Please send this site plan and the engineering plans to theowners of 412 Carolina Beach Ave N.
This house is probably a rental. The house has a separate owner address listed soplease send it to the address of the owner:
Owner Name: BEACH HOUSE PARTNERS LLC.
Address: 1525 S. Front St., Wilmington NC 28401
You will send this letter through certified mail. Please scan a copy of the filled outnotice and a picture of the certified mail receipts.
You will also need to fill out another adjacent property notification for the beachaccess the town owns at the end of Scallop Ln. Please make this form out to:
Owners: Town of Carolina Beach
Address: Town Right of Way Beach Access at Scallop Ln, Carolina Beach NC28428.
You do not need to send this notification to the town, we just need a scanned copyof the form filled out.
I will also need a $100 check made out to the town of Carolina beach for theCAMA permit.
Let me know if you have any questions!
Best,
Haley

Hi Haley,
I am attaching the application, agent authorization form andmaps.
I am wondering which category this would fall under for eitherOcean Hazard or Coatsal Shoreline. Would you please advise?
Also, Winds VI is next to a public Access. For the adjacentproperty Notice, would I just send to The Beach House, at 412CB Ave N?
Best Regards,

Hi Ms. Macpherson,
We are applying for a permit for our client, located at 418Carolina Beach Ave N, an HOA Condominium, to install adrainage system in their rear parking area.

Each trench shall have 6" of compacted graveland sand above drainage gravel for traffic bearing.
Excavation of approximately 20 yards of material andexisting sand to properly grade away from buildinganticipated.
