This is a re -notification for the same thing we sent a letter to you about in 2022. The Hoopers had a hard
time finding a contractor at that time to do the work when we initially notified you, but are now lined up to
proceed with the same shoreline protection project.
As adjacent riparian property owner to the above referenced project, it is required by NCDEQ, Division of
Coastal Management (NCDCM) that you be notified of the proposed work that requires a CAMA General
Permit. As depicted on the accompanying site plan, the proposed work requiring a CAMA General Permit
includes a rock sill for wetland protection situated 5ft waterward of the Hooper's shoreline. Ms. Hooper
proposes the rock to extend to be in line with your bulkhead, which would help protect her shoreline as
well as yours to prevent washout around your bulkhead. If you have no objection to this, please also
check the "1 DO wish to waive somelall of the 15' setback" on the attached form. If you do not agree,
please let us know.
Should you have no objections to this proposal, please check "1 have no objection to the project described
in this correspondence" line and sign and date on the included Adjacent Riparian Owner lines (on the
accompanying form). Please return this statement to Brian Rubino, Quible & Associates, P.C.,

As adjacent riparian property owner to the above referenced project, it is required by NCDEQ, Division of
Coastal Management (NCDCM) that you be notified of the proposed work that requires a CAMA General
Permit. As depicted on the accompanying site plan, the proposed work requiring a CAMA General Permit
includes a rock sill for wetland protection situated 5ft waterward of the Hooper s shoreline. If you have no
objection to this, please also check the "I DO wish to waive some/all of the 15' setback" on the attached
form. If you do not agree, please let us know.
Should you have no objections to this proposal, please check "I have no objection to the project described
in this correspondence" line and sign and date on the included Adjacent Riparian Owner lines (on the
