RE: HDD and PNA Moratorium
Good morning Martin. I apologize for the delay in response; I have been on leave.
The HDD methodology minimizes impacts to jurisdictional features such as wetlands and open waterbodies. This
method is preferred above open trench methods. The plans indicate the line will be 10' under the feature. Therefore, I
do not foresee substantial impacts to the PNA and its resources if the activity was conducted during the moratorium.
Please be mindful of entry and exit locations, making sure they or any equipment are not staged in wetlands and that
necessary sedimentation and erosion control measures are implemented.

Ripple Fiber, Inc. is proposing to extend their fiber optics network into Martins Point.
A subsurface crossing of Ginguite Creek will be required (see attachment).
