PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project consists of constructing the Pecan Grove Marina to include buildings. parking areas, dockage. and other appertnances. SITE DESCRIPTION: The site is a parcel of land located in Township No. 5, Pamlico County along SR 1305 and Shop Gut. The area to be disturbed was formerly used as a campground and a restaurant located on the southeastern corner of the property. SOILS, Basically the area has very shallow layer of sandy topsoil, fol- lowed by either sand or fine sand. CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE: No land disturbing work shall begin on the site until the Sedi- mentation + Erosion Control plan is approved. A pre -construction meeting with one C1) week notification time shall be held prior to any land disturbing activity. Install the temporary gravel construction entrance from SR 1308 to provide access for construction equipment and materials. Egress and Ingress of other locations for other than personal vehicles will require written permission and additional temporary gravel construction entrances. Install sediment fence at the locations indicated on the drawings; i.e. some areas will be along the clearing limits. Install stone checks, riprap outlet structures, stabilize with temporary seedings. etc. as areas are graded; permanent seeding can be performed in lieu of temporary seeding in areas not to be re -disturbed. Stabilize parking areas, drives, ramps. etc. with stone base course as soon as practical. All temporary erosion control measures shall be properly in- stalled within thirty C30) days of the completion of the land disturbing activity in the area. Afterthe upstream areas have been properly stabilized, seed the sediment basin wit' p manrnt MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE: Inspect the sediment fence, and stone checks on a weekly basis. Repair or replace the sediment fence when damaged or when failing to properly contain sediment. Remove sediment from the stone checks when less than one (1) foot of freeboard remains; remove, clean or replace stone when it becomes impervious. OOF DRAINS TO BE COLLECTED Repair and reseed all areas of either temporary or permanent ND DRAINED TO OUTLET SWALE seeding that are eroding. UTH OF BUILDING AT LEAST PROJECT CLOSE OUT SEQUENCE: 5 'FROM SWALE OUTLET. INTO SA WATERS No erosion control devices shall be removed until the land dis- turbing activities. with the exception of landscaping, have been completed and the areas stabilized. Once the permanent seeding has established itself and the parking areas are stabilized the perimeter silt fence can be removed. PS After the permanent seeding has stabilized the invert and slopes cf the drainage swales, the stone checks may be removed and temp- orary sediment basins modified to rip rap lined channels. I ®4.40' After the completion of construction the entire area shall be inspected monthly by the owners representative for a period of one (1) year. The owners' representative will keep a written log of needed repairs and a record of the contractor making the repairs including the date the repairs were completed.
