KW 1x mod to clear channel to north in April- since has been surveyed for cultural resources
Permit mod request still pending
Preparing for Oct/Nov dredge event- 2 events- Merritt in early -mod Oct dredge 7 days hoping
for temp relief- one issued, to include red polygon in early Nov late oct- then miss katie come in
Nov for 2-3 weeks
Hopefully one more prior to moratorium
Update from Jeremy for ACE — bringing Merritt- orig talking Oct 7 but may be delayed?
Jeremy storms have delayed work at LFI- pushed back until prob 21" 22ne of Oct and showing 2 weeks
on schedule
KW ACE expecting authorization to dredge in the weeks ahead- can switch to fed auth
Jeremy tracking 24' Oct to have Rollinson realignment EA finalized
Do have to do additional vibracores and grain size analysis- but still anticipate having finalized
KW so some breathing room for comments- schedule could change so still the sooner the better
But if ACE schedule for the 24' holds- then ACE dredging would fall under fed auth
KW so once fed authorization is approved- any work they do would be feds- but Miss Katie would
still fall under Dare Co
Barton realignment gets pushed again good to have- max of 10 days of funds for ACE dredging for Dare
JP still working through mod need to check with Pace to make sure boxes are checked
KW 2 requests in- temp permission for few days- worried that the shoaling will be too bad
Any update on their timeline
JP should be able to get what they need done- reached out to everyone on his end- expect to be
sim to what was issued in the past- but if anything pops up will let them know
KW sent all permits and mods to Jordan/EJE, still working on federal permits

Some of the dredging that will occur in this event will align pretty closely with power cables -
when went through process in getting permit before, Tideland assured them that cables are
below -12' dredge depth, but something to keep track of- especially the larger event later
Me- still waiting on comments on both requests- ask that we have another call prior to dredging
once we receive comments and issue authorization in case any other conditions are added
Barton think time to have another call — but would like to get Miss Katie in before shoals too much
Kw merritt too- getting Merritt in while they can- there is a lot of concern- channel has held up well
but starting to see shallower depths —and have seen channel shoal in quickly
