10.2.23 Call Meeting Notes

10/2/23 Hatteras Inlet pre -con meeting (1317) Attendees: KW, BR, BG, JP, me
KW Last done back in March- 17,500cy
Anticipate around that, maybe 25,OOOcy given the budget and schedule
Maintain 100' buffer around cables- anticipate both eastern and western section dredging
Don't think will dredge full 200' wide channel although shown
All will go in nearshore disposal area
Talk to modifying similar to Oregon Inlet- not submitted yet- waiting on southern permit

And likely to include when proposed mod for ocean bar channel (later)
SAV- 100' buffer- pink is historic areas- survey in June
Distance between updated SAV location was >600'
Me was hoping to hear from Jimmy about the SAV and if they have any further questions or
concerns- but thanks for getting us the info so quickly
Worst case it's only a 3' encroachment into the 100' from the old 11/12 APNEP survey, so seems
could shift or avoid that few feet, but hopefully will receive confirmation that they are okay with
new survey
KW agree that probably wouldn't be a problem- but would be good to know

Barton last heard, JH (EJE) said planning on starting 7`^ of poss Monday- so have a little time to confirm
Shipyard visit scheduled in Nov — and with budget
Need to maintain fund reserve for event in spring prior to March 31- hopefully will hold up
Poss short winter event if needed- but plan fall and spring events for future
KW Also tracking shift to the north- hopefully will stay within corridor and won't keep moving north
Especially with the SAV to the north
