JP do have some conditions regarding surveying- and will run by County- but waiting for final comments on 408 KW non -fed channels- have SAV report will send out to agencies by the end of this week No shellfish beds found in dredge or disposal corridors Walter Slough into OIFC- areas where closest to SAV- do understand will be some additional coordination —and within 100' close to basin All of channels are 100' @-14' MLLW -corridor and not fixed so following best water —269,OOOcy within template (dredged 135,OOOcy last quarter, so more than will likely dredge, but want to give notice) Condition 5- SAV shellfish surveys conducted- and discussed Cond 10- coordination for scour holes — will also wait on federal permit Cultural resources survey was conducted and will be submitted to DNCR- GB also id/label where not meeting buffers JH also identify/qualify whether dense or patchy KW should be in report will be sending out GB also discuss any avoidance and minimization measures KW okay- all of actions would be working as a hopper @JP- any additional thoughts? JP no- will also take CAMA permit to try to make sure consistent KW and their understanding NPS plan to issue a SUP for non-federal channels- is that correct? JH P10 and P19- curve is for deep water? KW yes- but may be able to straighten out JH would be better operationally KW also expiring at end of year- so want to go ahead and talk about renewal Timeframe? GB expires when? KW 12/31/24 GB 5 year is standard, but may be able to extend further out Typically don't start looking at renewals until 3 months prior Still discussing policy and will know by end of year Can look at it KW action items- update plans for disposal areas- with cross sections/volume capacity Will wait until ACE permit to see if need anything else Will label SAV areas and provide qualitative info on areas And look at updating channel orientation in WS- Looking to schedule next meeting at Monday 3/25 Me - Need more than 1.5 working days to review plans- we generally require plans to be submitted 2 weeks prior to work. So not prepared to go over all the conditions for the other permits and think we need to hold another meeting once the federal permit is issued- but as for the Oregon Inlet and Alternate Route- I think it's okay to proceed- I'll just remind you that the depths shown are the absolute depths for Oregon Inlet ocean bar and OHC Range 1 and no additional overdredge depth is permitted beyond the depths shown on the plans. I will also say as far as the other channels, that it doesn't appear that the dredging meets the SAV buffer, so we will need to consult with DMF and I'm not going to put Jimmy on the spot today as I'm sure he also needs additional time to review the plan provided at the end of the day on Friday. I think if you're planning on disposing of material in the scour holes- or what you're now calling Oregon Inlet west- I think we probably need more detailed plans for that disposal. I'd like to see cross section drawings of the disposal area with estimated fill shown and a table included on the plans showing dredge volumes and disposal area capacity volume/proposed fill volume.
