KW project scope- Oregon Inlet ocean bar channel
Alternate route and OHC Range 1
Not dredging Oregon Inlet to Hells Gate channel- below auth depth.
Nearshore disposal still maintained at 5000' length- proposing to extend to 10000' long and out
to depth of -18' during higher seas- submitted to ACE
And inshore disposal at bridge bents
Turn over to JH
JH April 1 and end of June:
Dredging east of bridge- nearshore 63,720cy ,
scour holes disposal- 56,OOOcy (alternate route- OHC R1 and ocean bar dredging can't put in
nearshore
KW ocean bar channel has shifted slightly south- moved out of Townsend buffer area- a little over
40,OOOcy of material in template to -16'
alternate route- 38600cy in template- same fixed channel position to -10'
OHC R1 about 6200cy still in template- may or may not be removed in next
350000 of capacity last time (Feb)- getting another survey in next few months -
Getting updated survey- still plenty of capacity
Item 2D- schedule- JH anything to add?
KW other permit actions come online- intention would be to add to workplans to include in this
meeting and sync to have one meeting -

Ask TY or TH to update on federal NEPA process?
TY currently about to move into internal review- starting next week- going through a few weeks- will
also be shared with NPS- then will go out for public review Aug/Sept
KW also OI Magt Plan? ACE working on plan
TY very new- haven't started yet
Andrea will be working on Hatteras Inlet and poss help her with OI
Will be written in coordination with agencies & Dare Co- EA in first priority

Will look at long term maintenance requirements
Dredge types, schedules, env impacts
