HomeMy WebLinkAbout94-61_Brinson, Frank_19941202TOM OF EMERALD ISLE 7500 EMERALD DRIVE BERAM ISLE, NC 28594 December 2, 1994 Mr. Frank Brinson Rt 10 box 274F Kinston, NO 28501 Re: 7308 Canal Drive, Block 31, Lot 48 H Ex 94-61 Dear Mr. Brinson We have reviewed the information submitted to. this office in your request to construct a ier, ith a tee, and find you are exempt from needing a Minor Development Permit as long as meets the specifications below: Your letters have been received and are on file in this office to the adjoining property owners to advise of the project; All pilings shall be a minimum of 611x6" square and shall have an 8' minimum tip penetration. Prior to construction, piling depths must be certified, either by an engineer or having the building inspector on site at the time of piling placement; Construction must conform to all applicable state and local construction requirements as illustrated in Bogue Sound Pier/Boat lift specifications (Section 6-84). A pier is not to exceed 200' in length, or 4' of water at low tide, not to exceed 200 square feet for any tee(s); nor shall the pier exceed 6' in width. Any variation of the above will require a CAMA permit; also, this certification of exemption from requiring a CAMA permit is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance.
