This permit, issued on 4- Z C is subject to compliance with the application and site drawing (where consistent
with the permit), all applicable r gulations and special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may subject
permittee to a fine, imprisonment or civil action, or may cause the permit to be null and void.

Residential structure, additions, including preparatory landscaping within 575' feet of the
estaurine waters.
1. Impervious surfaces shall not exceed 25% of the lot area within the AEC;
2. Provide a buffer zone of at least 30 feet from the mean high water line;
3. Sedimentation and erosion methods must be used between graded areas and marsh grasses;
4. Have NO stormwater collection system;
5. No marsh grass will be graded or filled;
6. No work is to begin until the proposed site has been permitted by a Town of Emerald Isle
Building Inspector.
7. This permit does not authorize any retaining wall, bulkheading, piers, docks, boatlift or
boathouse.

This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or other
qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing date.
From the date of an appeal, any work conducted under this per-
mit m.st cease until the appeal is resolved.
This permit must be on the project site and accessible to the
Permit officer when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modifications not covered
under this permit requires further written permit approval.
All work must cease when this permit expires on December
31, 0
In issuing this permit it is agreed that this project is consistent
with the local Land Use Plan and all applicable ordinances.
This permit may not be transferred to another party without
the written approval of the Division of Coastal Management.

erosion and/or flooding. I acknowledge that the local permit officer has explained to me the particular hazard problems associ-
ated with this lot. This explanation was accompanied by recommendations concerning stabilization and floodproofing tech-
niques.

CAMA PERMIT NOTICE
Pursuant to NCCS 113A-119(b), Emerald Isle, a locality authorized to issue
permits in Areaslof Environmental Concern, through the Coastal Area
Management Agency (CAMA), hereby gives NOTICE that on April 28, 2005,
Michael & Patsy Daniels applied for a Minor CAMA Permit to construct a frame
house, install septic system, driveway and pool w/deck within the Area of
Environmental Concern, at 1410 Emerald Dr., Block 7, Lot 1155-157, Emerald
Isle.
The application may be inspected at the address below. Public comments
received by May 14, 2005 will be considered. Later comments will be accepted
and considered up to the time of permit decision. Project modifications may occur
based on further review and comments. Notice of the permit decision in this
matter will be issued upon written request.
