DATUM CONVERSION
The Mean High Water (MHW) elevation of 2.2' NGVD for Morgan Creek was provided by
NC Geodetic Survey in July, 1997 and approved by CAMA agent.
The Normal Low Water (NLW) elevation of -1,7' NAVD for Morgan Creek was determined
from observations of tide ranges over a 30 day period of 2.9' NHW to NLW and
converted from NGVD Datum to NAVD Datum as shown hereon:
MHW Elevation = 2,20' NGVD + (-1,04') = 1.16' NAVD
-2.90' Tide Range
NLW Elevation = -1,74' NAVD ( approximately = -1.7' NAVD)
