After talking this over with my Joint Venture Partner, Tut Garner, President of Carova Corporation, GP, Ocean-Carova, JV (Ocean Sands Corporation and Carova Corporation), we both agree that the property that abuts your clients, while indicating the name "Carova Corp.", is not owned by the developers, Ocean-Carova, JV (or Carova Corp.) All of the streets and right of ways were dedicated to the public when initially platted. Ocean-Carova, JV (and/or Carova Corp.) has not paid any property taxes in Currituck County in a number of years, indicating that we own no taxable property. I sent him a sign off as the adjacent owner for a dock project I am contracted at 2208 ocean pearl in carova. Currituck gis shows carova Corp as the adjacent property owners, owning a 20ft easement to the north of 2208 ocean pearl. I need to know. What I am to do for a signoff for 2208 ocean pearl, since they are now not claiming ownership. Attached are the emails I have had with Larry.
