Dewberry Engineers has been contracted to provide the CAMA General Permit Application for the
proposed Whalehead Club South Well and Water Transmission Line located within Currituck County.
Included with this application is a copy of the Agent Authorization form, a map showing the project
location and the high-water mark, Project Plan and Profile Drawings.
The project is located at approximately 1160 Village Lane, Corolla, NC 27927 (36.373572,
-75.831367): The project is approximately 800 feet long and will disturb approximately 2400 square
feet. No work with Wetlands or Waters of the US will occur.
The project is intended to ensure Currituck County can meet the future drinking water needs for the
community. The project includes a new fresh water well (Sheet C4) and the associated 10-inch PVC
pipe that will be used to tie-in the water well with the existing Currituck County Infrastructure
located at INC Highway 12 (Sheet C8). Temporary silt fencing and tree protection fencing will be
installed to prevent sediment runoff and to protect the existing trees.
