Notes:
1. Timber pile spacing for boat lifts is typical for the type of boats to be located
at the residency. Actual installation measurements may vary.
2. The project shall not interfere with navigation. No portion of any proposed
structure is to extend past the existing dock.
3. The fixed dock portions of the proposed additions must be elevated 3' min. above
the morph substrate of any coastal wetlands.

General Notes:
I. rroject is for 3 additional boat slips with lifts and 2 finger piers
with floating docks for access. The project site will have a total
of 6 boat slips after the proposed additions.
2. The Docking facilities are only for recreational use by the residents
and their families.
3. Project is located on Peletier Creek (Stream Index No. 20-36-11)
with stream classification SS with special designation (#) and is
part of the White Oak River Basin.
4. Existing topography is approximated from contours as shown on the
"Mansfield" USGS Quad Sheet. All elevation data for water depths
and section view are relative to Normal Low Water as converted
using NOAA tidal datums.
5. Existing dock and boat lifts shown are as authorized under CAMA
General Permit No. 39394-C issued July 26, 2004.
6. No impacts are proposed within the area of environmental concern
(AEC) or coastal shoreline buffer as shown.
7. This project will not extend past the existing dock and will
therefore not interfere with novigation as noted in the previous
permit issued.
8. No new impervious surfaces are proposed.
9. No 404 wetlands exist on -site as regulated by the US Army Corps
of Engineers.
10. This project is within special flood hazard area zone AE (Elev. 7)
based upon FEMA map 3720636600J (Morehead City). Effective
July, 16 2003.
11. All existing conditions at the project site are taken from hand
measurements, Carteret County GIS Data, and the "Mansfield"
USGS Quad Sheet.
Impact Minimization Notes:
1. The contractor shall be aware of existing conditions within Peletier Creek
(channel locations, tides, existing boat traffic, etc.)and specifically near
the project area before beginning construction.
2. Project construction shall take place within the winter/colder months as
allowable to prevent any potential impacts to aquatic life.
3. Should any land be disturbed for transferring or storing materials, etc.,
proper erosion control procedures shall be taken to stabilize the area.
4. The contractor shall use best judgment to prepare and stabilize the site,
materials, equipment, etc. for any adverse weather conditions that could
potentially impact or disturb existing conditions at the site.
5. All applicable permits must be received and appropriate CAMA and Town of
Morehead City personnel notified (48 hour minimum) before beginning construction.
