Attached is the permit with new ski lift locations noted thereon. The mooring pole has been removed to free up a lift location on the pier/walkway. We will install one lift on the front right corner of the platform to avoid the roof line and the other on the second piling from the end on the pier/walkway. We can make one lift work on the front right piling of the platform which is not part of the covered area. I recall Mr. Renaldi mentioned we could install the other lift on the pier on the left side as planned, but to do so we would need to get rid of the mooring pole. I have not checked with Mr. Hudson on the logistics of removing it, but is it possible to use the mooring pole for another purpose such as a light pole instead? It would actually be helpful in finding the way back after dark. Please advise. Thank you. I've found another manufacturer whose lift does not have a mast in an effort to see if that will work. The non -mast lift, however, is mounted to the platform instead of a piling. Hopefully, that will not mean any need to modify the permit you just issued if we end up going that route. In the event we can't make either of these lift types work, please remind me what would be involved to seek a major permit approval to install the lifts on the pier to the left of the boathouse as originally planned. Please also advise if floating docks require a permit. Thank you.
