Hi Yvonne,
I re -visited the subject property on Thursday (11/10/22). The shoreline has changed a bit since I was there four years ago
and it looks like the fringe wetland I flagged is gone. There was remnants of phrag that had been cut down but it was
growing up on the bank and I didn't see any wetland areas along the shoreline. The small portion of the yard that I
previously called wet has been mostly filled by over wash from storms. In summary, I didn't claim any wetlands along or
behind the proposed bulkhead alignment and I reminded the contractor and owner to work with you to see if the
project can fit under a GP.

No, they never hired a consultant to my knowledge. I actually received an email a while back from
Kevin Lineberger with Millstone Marine, and the owner(s) weren't completely honest with him. Once I
told Kevin we had been onsite and recommended a major permit application for the bulkhead,
Millstone dropped the request.
Not sure about 'filled in', but someone certainly mowed everything down. I wouldn't be surprised if
the previous owner/partner did that to make the property more appealing and 'sellable'. I suppose I
can let the contractor know that we can't move forward until either a consultant or you do a 404
wetland delineation. Are you ok with me forwarding your application form? I'll also provide a
consultant list to them.

Hi Yvonne,
Yeah I remember this site. We looked at it right after one of the big storms. I have in my notes that the owner at the
time was going to hire a consultant to assist with permitting but I guess that never happened.
I would probably need to look at the shoreline again to flag any wetlands that might be there since the original flags
were neversurveyed or anything. Hopefully they haven't filled them in already. Or they could hire a consultant.
