Good morning Greg,
We still have to obtain lighting/signage approval from the USCG and hope to submit our application this week. From
what I remember, the approval will come from one of USCG's NC offices however we do not know how long it will take
for them to issue.
Once that is in we'll have a better idea as to when the contractor would hold the pre-construction meeting and
subsequently start construction.
Let us know if you have any more questions.

Chris—
Thanks you for the update/summary of the SAV relocation in the footprint of the proposed wave break structure.
Could you provide DCM with an approximate timeframe between SAV relocation and the beginning of construction on
the structure?
Thanks for your time.

Greg,
Per our conversation, Kathy Herring will be at the site part of this Thursday and Friday for the relocation of the SAV
plants in the footprint of the structure. Marc Fonseca (formerly with NOAA),the consultant that wrote the mitigation
plan, will be at the site starting Thursday until they are finished sometime this weekend. Kathy confirmed they would be
using non-mechanical equipment such as shovels. They do plan to have robotic equipment on-hand to assist with
measurements but it will be non-destructive.
Someone will contact you to set up a pre-construction meeting soon.
Please let us know if you have any questions.
