Box 25201, Raleigh, NC 27611 authorizing development in Bertie County at an unnamed tributary of the Roanoke River at SR1518 crossing, bridge No. 73 as requested in the permittee's application dated 7/9/92 and attached workplan drawings dated 5/92. This permit,issued on November 20, 1992 , is subject to compliance with the application(where consistent with the permit),all applicable regulations,special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may be subject to a fine,imprisonment or civil action;or may cause the permit to be null and void. / / Excavation and Filling ' 1) The temporary placement or double-handling of excavated or fill material / within waters or vegetated wetlands is not authorized. I ' 2) No excavated or fill material will be placed in surrounding waters ' outside of the alignment of the fill area indicated on the workplan / drawings. ' 3) A silt screen will be placed immediately upstream and downstream of the ' project site prior to any excavation and not removed until 24 hours after ' the completion of all excavation. ' 4) A permanent ground cover sufficient to restrain erosion will be provided ' on all exposed areas within the shorter of 30 working or 120 calendar / / ' (See attached sheet for Additional Conditions) ' This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or Signed by the authority of the Secretary of DEHNR and the ' ' other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the Chairman of the Coastal Resources Commission. / ' issuing date.
