The State of North Carolina has received the above
referenced Corps Public Notice dated 04/09/01 which
describes a proposal by NC Department of Transportation for a Fede
License/Activity within the NC Coastal Area. This public
notice has been sent to the appropriate state agency
reviewers for comment on the proposal ' s consistency with
the North Carolina Coastal Management Program pursuant to
15 CFR 930 . 50/930 . 30 . We have requested that our reviewers
respond to this office by 04/30/01 and, provided no serious
problems are identified, will furnish you with the state ' s
position on or before 05/08/01 .
