Gentlemen:
This letter will serve to refine CAMA Permit #27-92 to NC DOT on March 4, 1992 for
the widening of Hwy 64/264 and the construction of a new Melvin Daniels Bridge along the
Nags Head-Manteo Causeway. This refinement is authorized pursuant to a request from A. E.
Bradley voiced August 9, 1994, during a conversation onsite with M. Edward Harrell, Field
Representative I, with the Division of Coastal Management.
This refinement authorizes the paving of four 9' x 11' areas located at the corners of the
new Melvin Daniels Bridge which is nearly completed.
This refinement should be attached to CAMA Permit #27-92 and be available onsite for
review by state and federal agencies. All conditions of CAMA Permit#27-92 remain unchanged
and must be adhered to.
