Dredging Project
To Whom It May Concern:
The purpose of this letter and associated documentation is to provide the required adjacent riparian
notification and opportunity to comment regarding a proposed project associated with a request for
CAMA General Permit application. The Town of Morehead City has received a request from Morehead
City Yacht Basin, LLC, to sponsor a Water Resources Development Grant Program (WRDGP) Shallow
Draft Navigation Channel Dredging and Aquatic Weed Fund grant application and dredge project. The
project proposes maintenance dredging of the basin with excavation up to 990 cubic yards of dredge
material within the Morehead City Yacht Basin at 208 Arendell Street, Morehead City. Maximum depths
will be subject to approval of a CAMA General Permit. A site map and copy of the survey of the
proposed dredge area are attached.

(this does not apply to bulkheads or riprap revetments). (If you wish to waive the setback, you must sign
the appropriate blank below.)
