Enclosed is a request for an extension of CAMA Major Permit #83-18. The project is located at
47382 Rocky Rollinson Road on the Pamlico Sound in Buxton, Dare County, North Carolina.
The owners are planning on starting the project in 2023 when they secure additional funding for
the project and plan to have the work completed in 2023. It is not possible for the work to be
completed prior to December 31, 2022, expiration date due to the amount of work to be
completed, funding and contractors available in this area.
There are no changes to the project since the issuance of the original permit and the project is in
compliance with conditions of the current permit.

2) The Division Energy, Mineral and Land Resources (DEMLR) approval of this project under stormwater
management rules of the Environmental Management Commission is covered by way of Stormwater
Permit No. S W7180505 which was issued on 8/8/19. Any violation of the permit approved by the
DFMLR shall be considered a violation of this CAMA permit.

3) This permit shall not be assigned, transferred, sold, or otherwise disposed of to a third party without the
written approval of the Division of Coastal Management.
4) The permittee and/or his or her contractor shall meet with a representative of the Division prior to
project initiation,
5) This Major Modification shall be attached to the original Permit No. 83-18, which was issued to the
permittee on 8/6/18, and copies of both documents must be readily available on site when Division
personnel inspect the project for compliance.
