1. Progress Summary:
- GLDD continues to provide AD/BD Survey Planning for the following 72 hours
The material of these loads was placed between stations 621+00 and 625+00
Structure at Sta 22+75 / 5121 W Beach Drive that is in the template has been filled in to the request of the CE
PI dug with the starboard draghead pinned during all loads, As a result, a total of six 1-arm digging delays occurred during loads 43 through 46
2. Safety:
Pre -Shift Meeting
The schedule of activities for the day was discussed which included getting the dredge ready to go to the port and take on fuel along with making repairs.
Safety discussed precautions to take while fueling the dredge. The crews completed Stretch and Flex exercises before starting their shift.
SSHO Observation
All GLDD personnel and worked with proper PPE being worn in compliance with GLDD policies and contract specifications.
Observed crew members working around operating heavy equipment maintaining the required safety zone and communicating with the equipment
operators prior to entering the safety zone.
