Ms. Rountree:
NCWRC is requesting approval for development related to the repairs to the Edenhouse
Bridge Boating Access Area. The original CAMA major permit number is 42-00, issued on
3/22/00. Project drawings have been attached. The following repairs will be made to the
boat ramp facility:
1. Removal of existing, damaged vinyl sheet pile groin, 140 LF. Build new vinyl sheet pile
groin, +-100 LF.
2. Removal of existing, damaged fixed dock, 140 LF. Build new concrete abutment to
accommodate new floating dock, +-80 LF.
3. The new floating dock and wall with follow the same alignment and location as the
existing dock and wall. The angled section of the existing dock (40') will not be rebuilt.
4. A 5' gap will be maintained between the new groin and the existing stone sill.
After reviewing this submittal, please let me know if you need any additional information.

ADJACENT RIPARIAN LANDOWNERS STATEMENT
General Statute 113-229 requires that riparian landowners with property adjoining a proposed
excavation and/or fill project be given thirty (30) days in which to comment on the project. This form allows the
adjacent riparian landowner to express either:
1) objection to the project
2) no objection to the project and the desire to waive the right to the 30-day period so that application
processing can progress more rapidly. The adjacent riparian landowner may also choose to not
sign the form at all.
