with the permit), all applicable regulations, special conditions and notes set forth below. Any violation of these terms may
oe suoJect to lines, imprisonment or civil action; or may cause me permit to oe nuti ana vota.
1) This renewal must be attached to the original of Permit No. 91-96 issued on 6/3/96, as well as all
subsequent renewals, modifications and Letters of Refinements, and all documents must be readily
available on site when Division personnel inspect the project for compliance.
2) All conditions and stipulations of the active permit remain in force under this renewal.
This permit action may be appealed by the permittee or
other qualified persons within twenty (20) days of the issuing
date. An appeal requires resolution prior to work initiation or
continuance as the case may be.
This permit must be accessible on -site to Department
personnel when the project is inspected for compliance.
Any maintenance work or project modification not covered
hereunder requires further Division approval.
All work must cease when the permit expires on
December 31, 2005
In issuing this permit, the State of North Carolina agrees
that your project is consistent with the North Carolina Coastal
Management Program.

State Permit No. 91-96 was issued on June 3, 1996, for construction of the Bald Head
Island Deep Point Marina project. The permit was renewed in 2001for two years. Thecurrent
permit will expire on December 31, 2003. Substantial work has been done on this project, and
Bald Head Island is requesting that the permit be renewed again.
This Office has no objection to the renewal of Permit No. 91-96. The applicant has
included a check (ck no.025166) in the amount of $100.00 for the renewal processing fee.

Bald Head Island, Limited hereby requests a renewal of CAMA Major
Development Permit Number 91-96, which expires on December 31, 2003.
Enclosed please find a check in the amount of $100.00 for the renewal fee.
The permit covers our future mainland marina base that we refer to as Deep
Point Marina. We are well underway on the construction of this facility, We
would, however, anticipate that completion of the total project would take
several more years.
