Per your guidance, two hard copies of the application package are enclosed for review, and the digital
files of the documents are uploaded to Microsoft Teams —Your Teams — CAHA Special Use Permits.
We received comment letters from the North Carolina State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) on
29 July 2021 regarding the proposed Avon and Buxton projects. Per their request in the letters, one
paper copy and one digital copy (PDF) of the archaeological reports (Appendix G of the EA) will be
sent to the Office of State Archaeology (OSA) through SHPO, for review and comment.
